Day 072: Beets Are Totally Passé [Top 5 Top 5 Sunday]
I don’t know how it happened, but it’s Sunday already? It seems like the week never started. Holidays always mess up my internal calendar. At least with Thanksgiving, it’s consistently right smack dab in the middle of the week, but that’s also it’s problem. Every day last week felt like the weekend, which is easy to feel when you work weekends. None of the normal people worked, people were smiling and not once did I crack a bad joke to a customer about the day of the week. The third week of November is permanently a weekend and I don’t know how to feel about it. Anyways, here’s the lists:
5) Top 5 Pontiacs
5) Sunfire
4) Grand Prix
3) Trans Am
2) Bonneville
1) Sunbird Convertible
That list was unusually hard to make. I feel bad for the Grand Am lovers out there.
4) Top 5 Nuts
5) Peas
4) Wals
3) Cashews
2) Pistachios
1) Almonds
My apologies to Dee. I know he’s a huge Pecan fan. The list just isn’t big enough for all of them.
3) Top 5 Things That I’m Currently Saying “Oh man, I gotta watch that” For But Still Find Excuses Not To
5) The documentary series on The Challenger
4) The Queens Gambit
3) Catching up on Better Call Saul
2) The Untouchables
1) Anything on Showtime
Even though I have a Showtime login, I always feel weird every time I use it and then I quickly forget that it exists. And then something else will come out on Showtime and I’ll say, “I wish I had a Showtime login! Oh wait, I do! Meh. Too much work.”
2) Top 5 Most Underrated Vegetables
5) Bok Choy
4) Beets
3) Brussels Sprouts
2) Onions
1) Mushrooms
You might think that beets are still popular, but let me assure you, they’re totally passé in New York.
