Day 058: Top 5 Top 5 List Sunday!!!

When you’re doing a habitual commitment like this one, routine is key. Most mornings, I wake up, roll over, snug Rachel and then complain out loud that I don’t know what to write today. For some reason, my whining usually helps me come up with my daily topic. It’s a routine that’s become integral to the writing process, almost as important as sitting cross-legged or drinking cold brew out of the 48oz bottle. Sunday’s are always the hardest. This is because it’s the only day of the week that Rachel leaves for work before I wake up. So my Sundays always start out confused, alone and with an even heavier writer’s block. The easiest thing to do in these times is to make lists. Since I have a lot of fun with them, I’ve hereby decided that every Sunday will be “Top 5 Top 5 Sunday”, where I make a Top 5 list of Top 5 lists. There will still be lists scattered throughout the week, but now I’ve forced myself to put more effort into the singular ones. So yeah. Onward.
